RELIGION
I'm a non-religious person so in 86% of my nation. In Vietnam there is no pressure on having a belief, most religious beliefs depend on the region but the most notable one is Buddhism.
When it comes to Buddhism people will practice this for reason of good health, good luck, longevity, strength, relaxation, forgiveness and meditation. When people practice this the sometimes fast and/or become vegetarians. This diet is very health even though it doesn't quite plentiful. Monks would often live a very modest life style only taking what's needed and spend lots of time meditating and being more in touch with themselves. There shaved head are a representation of there change into becoming a monk. In general it doesn't really matter what your religious believes are in Vietnam, everyone is mutual about each other.
